Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has reacted, after a fan told her not to refer to her dogs as her children.

Cuppy acquired the pair of Pomeranian dog breeds, which she named Dudu and Funfun in 2021, and has since showered them with love and fondly referred to them as her children. She recently celebrated their 1st birthday in style, and while sharing photos from the birthday, she noted that dogs bring her so much happiness and bring out the mother in her.

On Wednesday, March 23, a guy known as Daniel Jackson turned to Twitter to encourage Cuppy to find a partner who would impregnate her rather than refer to the dogs as her children, after she gushed about the pups on the microblogging platform.

”@cuppymusic why don’t you just find a guy that’ll impregnate you then calling those pets your kids???…being a single mom isn’t a bad thing.”
Cuppy responded by deleting her initial post with the pet dogs and quoting Daniel’s tweet, which she accompanied with a combination of laughing and crying emojis.
